- Problem-solving; I am very good at looking a certain problem and being able to take a different angle on it, as I am very good at maths puzzles and crosswords, as I find it very satisfying to solve Furthermore, I can code in python and C#, therefore as a result I have to be able to find any issues within the code, this requires me to be meticulous when checking the code for any bugs or errors and try correcting it using trial and error until it runs smoothly without fault
- Critical thinking; I am very good at taking a topic and being able to evaluate it though the use of facts, knowledge and logic For example, when reading up a news article I always cross refence it with other articles to make sure that clear information that is factual, reliable and legitimate
- Patience and understanding; When I was 13 my father was unfortunately diagnosed with dementia, throughout his difficult illness had to learn to be very patient with him because he didn’t understand about life, as his dementia progressed and very recently, I had to be a primary care giver to him as his state worsened, through that period it was never difficult for him as he didn’t know who he was and struggle with allot of physical tasks Though this I had to very patience and reassuring to make sure that he was as comfortable as he could be
- Numerical skills; fast at mental mathematics, working out percentages, ratios and identifying mathematical patterns I was in top set maths at GCSE regularly achieving high grades and later went on to study statistics, mechanics and pure maths at A-level
