Accomplishments
Some of my main accomplishments include being selected to take part in a Rotary Germany exchange trip, which gave me the opportunity to represent my school internationally, experience a different culture and develop my confidence and independence. I have also been involved in TA hockey, developing my skills and gaining experience within a competitive hockey environment. I have played hockey since the age of three, representing teams at school, club and county level and taking part in talent development. Alongside sport, I have gained leadership experience through running an after-school club for primary school children, as well as developing my communication and teamwork skills through work experience. Academically, I am also completing an EPQ focused on the global popularity of field hockey and how the sport can adapt to modern media, which has allowed me to develop my independent research, organisation and critical thinking skills.
