Critically assess and help structure credit proposals within my own lending authority and for onward consideration up to UK committee level. Responsible for making credit assessments and decisions across a full range of lending scenarios and sectors, based on detailed financial and cash flow assessments, and through conducting market due diligence and understanding key risks within businesses.

Helped lead a large city centre branch to deliver strong balance sheet growth whilst maintaining operational and credit quality. Responsible for coaching a team of successful corporate and private banking managers particularly when preparing credit proposals within my own lending authority and for onward submission to credit committee decision levels.

Working with a portfolio of mid market trading businesses and large property companies to deliver financial solutions to support their growth aspirations. I prepared credit proposals within my own delegated lending authority as well as preparing proposals for higher decision levels

I supported and provided financial solutions to a portfolio of mid market business customers to deliver a professional service and be a trusted adviser to clients across a range of sectors including manufacturing, retail and wholesale, construction, transport, services, consultancy, and property. I prepared credit proposals across a broad range of lending scenarios including structured finance, cash flow lending, secured and asset based lending.

I joined NatWest in 2001 working up to Branch Manager in 2003, then moving into business and relationship manager roles in 2005. In 2011 I also led a team of business relationship managers as Director, Business Banking on a 9 month secondment.
