• i am capable of using your weighbridge system to weigh incoming loads in and help with the automatic weighing out system.

• This job involved taking leadership of the job at hand. I could transfer my skills from a hgv mechanic to heavy plant. Repairing mobile/fixed elevators ,fixed conveyors and overhauling plant responding to breakdowns and getting to running again as promptly and safely as possible. This is where started to learn about grains and feeds.
• When a ship came in I would load it using the mobile conveyors this was for clarksons and Ipswich grain terminal. I gained my shunter licence and would shunt for clarksons on imports and exports.
• I also gained knowledge of working in the lab through both company's and was able to find out more about the grain and feed controls and measures that are needed and Inplace.
• I would maintain stores and pest proof and roof repairs or any job given to keep the stores up to good standard and stop the commodities from getting damaged.
• I gained my loading shovel ticket and started loading out and pushing up for many different company's and all varieties from grain and feeds to fertiliser and cement.

Started my apprenticeship and became fully quified hgv mechanic job role was maintaining carlsberg trucks to dealership standards for approved warranty work.

I was also working on all types of vechicles cars, vans, campervans, 7.5 tonne, skip lorrys, horse boxes, rigid and articiculated trucks.

The job required to be able to fault find and repair in good time and quality in the repair.

Preventive maintenance and customer relations was key to make the company I was working for a successful business.
