I have been into creative photography for over 20 years and have gained a respectable reputation for for capturing compelling images that tell story and evoke emotion. Specialised in mainly landscape, wildlife and event photography, consistently delivering high-quality work that exceeds client expectations.
In the last 5 plus years I have built a sizeable portfolio and a substantial social media following where I promote my work via vlogs, reels and relatable videos. I have created a lifestyle of travelling around the country in my campervan and capturing our beautiful landscapes, night skies and wildlife.
Ultimately my modus operandi is to produce something physical like a print or framed piece of wall art captured forever rather rather memory that lives on a phone or computer rarely to be seen. Customers seem to relate to this and love the concept.
I have managed to develop an excellent reputation for Tony Dalton Photography and this can be verified by the many excellent reviews on my social media business pages. I pride myself on excellent customer service.
I initially started the photography business as a sideline to my main employment. My love of photography and being creative is my driver and from the outset the aim was to make the 'hobby' pay for itself. To date it certainly has and almost by accident it became a main source of earning since I took voluntary redundancy during Covid in 2020.
Throughout my entire photography lifespan I have always kept abreast of technology simply because I have a natural love of technology and personal development. One of my main sources for purchasing all necessary kit has been Calumet then WexPhoto.
I am familiar with the Belfast team who work at WexPhoto and have always had an excellent experience as a customer. This is the type of industry and environment I would love to be part of particularly WexPhoto branding. It compliments what I do as a creative photographer perfectly.
I am currently a self employed Photographer based in Belfast and who specialises in creative framed wall art.
My main portfolio of work includes landscape, wildlife and specialist event photography. I have built a sizeable catalogue of work that I supply directly to customers or retailers as themed wall art, mainly as framed prints, prints and also other substrates such as aluminium, acrylic and diabond.
All framed and printed work is produced directly from my studio that includes my own fully functional framing shop.
Initially this was a part time small business beginning in 2005 and aside to my normal full time employment.
After taking voluntary redundancy from my previous employment during the covid lockdown period of 2020 my part time photography role became a full time business.
