- My responsibility on the ERRV as a Master is to the overall command of the vessel, including the safety and well-being of the crew.

- I am responsible for safe navigation of the vessel (especially during bad weather), the implementation of company policies and procedures, and the maintenance of the vessel in good condition.

- I am administer the crew and ensure that they are properly trained and qualified.

- During my work on the ship, I represents my company and conduct communications with the offshore installations (BP, Shell, Dana Petroleum etc.).

- I am also responsible for checking and updating all ship's documentation and certificates.

- I am handling the vessel in the harbour.

- Ship's Security Officer duties.

As Chief Officer I was responsible for:

- Safe navigation of the vessel.

- Maintenance of the vessel.

- Training and supervising the deck crew.

- Representing the Master in port.

- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the deck department.

- Safety Officer duties.

My responsibility as 2nd Officer.

- Maintaining the ship's navigational equipment and publications.

- Planning and executing the ship's voyage.

- Conducting the Bridge watches.

- Assisting the Master in emergency situations.

- Overseeing the deck crew.

- Ensuring the safety of the ship and its crew.

My responsibility as Deckhand:

- Operating and maintaining the deck equipment, such as winches, cranes and lifeboats.

- Standing watch and keeping a lookout for hazards.

- Participating in firefighting and emergency drills.

- Providing general assistance to the crew.
