Music has played a major role in my life since I was very young, starting by listening to concerts and the choir in the local church. I began piano lessons aged 5. I was inspired by music from TV and film, such as Star Wars, Harry Potter and Doctor Who; this developed into classical, choral and most recently a passion for Musical Theatre. Over the years I have been fortunate to visit the Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, the West End, The Rep in Birmingham and Curve, Leicester to see a number of professional shows and concerts, and even more fortunate to have performed in London, Estonia, Spain, France and Germany. All of these experiences have enriched my life and underpinned the musician that I am today. A year ago, I made the challenging decision to change my plan to study Piano and instead opt for Musical Theatre as I feel this gives me a wider range of employment opportunities in the future.
