Working on a freelance contract basis, my duties in this role have included:

• Daily scheduling on a variety of Scandinavian channels including the scheduling of live sporting events including NBA, Snooker, Motorsport, Athletics, Winter Sport and more.
• Midterm schedule planning and midterm break modelling.
• Cultivating relationships with a variety of different departments within Discovery including the teams within each territory.
• Liaising with copy coordinators and compliance teams to ensure the availability of material for scheduling on-air in various regions.
• Thoroughly checking all schedules for an assigned region for errors and inaccuracies daily, as well as running reports to confirm that all schedules have been sent across all territories and all components of those playlists are present within the correct folders.
• Supporting other members of the team as necessary and undertaking ad-hoc tasks where required

Working on a contract basis, my duties in this role included:

  • Managing the end-to-end execution of commercial marketing assets for EA franchises across the EA Play platform from brief to delivery.
  • Liaising with a variety of departments including production, marketing, brand design, copywriting, and commercial management to ensure the smooth movement of assets through the production process to delivery.
  • Liaising with commercial partners, internally and externally to ensure the smooth delivery of required assets for Xbox, Playstation, Steam and EA social channels.
  • Working with the production team to brief, create and deliver assets for in-game use for Battlefield 2042
  • Ensuring the tracking and updating of records within Airtable for different marketing beats is accurate and up to date.
  • Working on processes within the team workflow to try and improve efficiency.
  • Checking assets before delivery to maintain high standards of accuracy to the specifications provided in the brief.
  • Dealing with ad hoc queries from a variety of departments across the EA organisation.

Working on a fixed term contract, my duties in this position included:

  • Scheduling of promotional content across the 12 regions by BBC World Service English using RCS and Zetta.
  • Curating the promotional output for the BBC World Service.
  • Creating, maintaining and updating the media plan to maximise the effectiveness of the promotional output on the network.
  • Liaising with the commissioning and scheduling teams to ensure the media plan, and promo content are accurate to what is going out on air.
  • Commissioning the production of promotional campaigns and project managing their delivery and loading to the playout system.
  • Liaising with the partner hub, promo producers, digital and channel scheduling teams on a regular basis to keep everyone informed of the current promotional schedule
  • Utilising a strong eye for detail to ensure all schedules are present and correct and everything that broadcasts is accurate and to the highest standard
  • Editing raw audio to create daily preludes for Outlook and weekly preludes for The Fifth Floor, each with the correct information and to the required specifications.

  • In this unpaid freelance role, I have reviewed several film and television releases as well as contributing feature pieces for the FilmHounds website and print magazine.

  • Until it’s closure in 2021, I ran the wrestling/MMA section of the website, distributing materials for review and sub-editing articles from contributors as necessary. I also wrote for the main website covering film/video game releases, attending screenings/press events and conducting interviews.
  • 2019 – 2023 - Reviewer/Contributor SteelChair Magazine
