  • I started work at Bridge House Farm as a weekend employee in June 2023, I am still currently working here, working flexible hours to satisfy the needs of the rest of the team. I now work here from Thursday-Sunday.
  • My jobs consist of mucking out, checking and maintaining pigs health, and completing any task given to me, I have a good way of problem solving things that can go wrong when on the farm.
  • I am an all round hard worker and enjoy learning and developing new skills no matter what task it may be.
  • I have consistently arrived at work at 6:30 every morning to work until 16:30.
  • Working on the farm has led me to be trained in various areas of animal medicine..
  • I have also been taught how to drive a JCB Agri-PRO, a TYM scraper Tractor and Schaffer and often help maintain, troubleshoot and fix the farm machinery and vehicles.



Road vehicle mechanic Work Experience

I started my work experience at SDS in May of 2023. I got involved in almost every job at the garage. from making cups of tea and coffee to replacing clutches. I have serviced multiple vehicles (being assisted by a qualified mechanic), and have a good understanding of how cars work and perform.

Things I have done consist of:

  • Performed emissions tests according to standard procedures.
  • Located and diagnosed engine faults.
  • Changed vehicle oil and replaced filter.
  • Spoke to customers on a basic level
  • Tested and serviced motor vehicles.


Milk Round

I started with Chris in January of 2022, delivering milk to over 350 people every morning. Starting 4:30 until 7:30.

I could carry up to 20 pints of milk at a time , memorising house numbers and street names, and each house order every time I jumped of the milk float. I was always on my feet, trying to be as fast as possible. I was a valued member of the team and kept my employment when demand decreased and others were asked to leave.

This was my First job which i had started in January of 2021, I was early up at 6:30 each morning, riding a pushbike to the newsagents and collecting up to 50 newspapers 6 times a week. I had memorised each street, house number and which newspaper they had ordered.
