• Conduit for tracking and reporting on shortages & buy lists, ensuring all commodity buyers have accurate work lists across assigned projects.
•Drive action plan for performance improvement & contribute to risk management.
•Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure the contractual agreements are reflected in the MRP system.
•Expedite delivery needs to Suppliers using the dedicated tools.
• Follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for projects.
•Contribute with Supply Chain inputs for supplier selection.
•Contribute to the project Supply Chain objectives and targets by ensuring material planning and ERP settings are in line with these objectives.
• Ensure and update the accuracy of material planning master data (in compliance with stock and logistic constraints)
• Create the Material Planning documents & respective Source List
•Communicate the Material Planning documents to Suppliers and follow Suppliers confirmation.
•Identify priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions.
•Organize and maintain regular reviews with Suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries and their delivery performances.
•Analyse and manage MRP exception messages and anticipate supply problems (backlogs, shortages, no demand…).
• Analyse and share deliveries performances KPI's with different stakeholders (Internal & External)• Accountable for collecting, analysing, and interpreting supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Support with the development of the purchasing programme management suite of standard
documentation/ templates for project KPI reporting.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve
efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables; plan
accordingly to ensure key linked reporting requirements are accommodated.
• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all purchasing fields within Fortescue Zero’s DDM (Design Data Manager) tool.
• Working closely with Logistics team as this team grows to establish consistent process for MRP planning, part scheduling and supplier performance reporting.
• Responsible for ensuring the DDM is fully populated with accurate buying levels, maintained and data can
be relied upon to report from on assigned projects.
• Utilise supply chain management software and tools to enhance visibility and control over supply
chain activities; stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and
implement new solutions.
• Champion the standardisation of templates and reporting metrics across the purchasing programme
management team
