I experience great personal feed back from many happy patients and I have a waiting list of grateful well engaged patients who appreciate the level of care and support I endeavour to provide for them.
I prioritise patient care and well-being and centre my advise and treatment around ensuring a positive and comfortable approach.
I actively listen to patients concerns and strive to understand each patients unique needs. I treat patients with compassion and respect and take time to provide care that is sensitive to my patients perspective. That may be by tailoring their treatment or by being aware of their personal circumstances and diversities.
I keep updated and aware of the latest guidelines and information via CPD, but I also choose to train in other areas that I see as beneficial to my role. As a healthcare provider I find this allows me to have a more holistic perspective on patient care, interacting with my peers and work colleagues.
I am always open to learning new skills to improve myself both personally and professionally.
Responsibilities are as previously noted but with the exception that I was not provided with nursing support for treatment in the surgery or for cleaning and sterilisation of instruments. I was also responsible for closing the building at the end of the day and ensuring that security procedures were followed.
Responsibilities were similar to my role at Priorlsee but I was provided with nursing support for cleaning and sterilisation of instruments
I worked here for a few months prior to having my first child. It was mutually beneficial as the practice was short of a Hygienist for a few months, and I was finding the commute into London increasingly difficult due to my pregnancy. I was approached by the dentist I used to work for as a dental nurse for many years ,as we had stayed in good contact throughout my training at Guys Hospital. My role was as outlined in previous job history and without nursing support.
This was a small one dentist practice and I was not provided with general nursing support to complete my role as a dental hygienist , but otherwise my responsibilities were as outline previously.
My responsibilities were the same as when I worked for Jonathan Tan and this was also a one dentist practice.
All responsibilities and my role was as previously mentioned and without nursing support.
During the years of that I was a student I worked part time as a catering assistant helping with weddings and general catering assistant procedures with meals in a private girls school. I continued with this while I was still training and until I started working as a dental nurse. At this time I also worked though a job agency as and administrative assistant in various offices in East Grinstead, and as a short order cook in a coffee shop in East Grinstead.
For many years I have been an active member of my local independent gym, where I regularly attend many classes and have met a group of lovely people. I go to circuit training a few times a week , and boxing training classes when they are available. I have completed the 3 peaks challenge and the Long Mynd Hike, and also the Pontesbury Potter a few times. For a few years I also took part in a few Tough Mudders and similar obstacle courses with my group of friends from the gym. I enjoy exercise and think its an important part of my mental health and wellbeing, as well as reading and relaxing.
