

I have developed deep, hands-on experience across the property industry since starting my career in 2016 with a local letting agent specialising in HMOs. In this role I handled room lettings, day-to-day tenant and property management, and supported the onboarding of new landlords onto full management contracts. I also gained early exposure to investor services, assisting with sourcing, renovating, and managing hands-off property projects. Alongside this, I helped run the Chester Property Investors Network (Simon Zutshi PIN) meetings each month, which expanded my industry knowledge and inspired me—through my mentor’s encouragement—to begin building my own property portfolio.
In November 2017, I secured my first rent-to-rent 5-bed HMO, marking the start of my own management business. After attending Progressive Property’s four-day “Multiple Streams of Property Income” seminar in 2018, I began sourcing deals for investors while continuing to grow my rent-to-rent portfolio. With my employer’s full support, I later branched out independently due to limited earning potential in a trainee role. Over the following years, I sourced a wide range of opportunities for investors—including ready-made HMOs, BRR projects, and R2R HMO and serviced accommodation deals—while expanding my own portfolio to nine HMOs totalling 54 rooms. Although some investor deals fell through at the final stages, the experience strengthened my resilience, negotiation skills, and understanding of the full investment cycle.
After several successful years running my own business, I transitioned back into employment as a Sales and Lettings Coordinator for a high-street estate agency, before briefly returning to focus on my portfolio again. For the past year, I have worked with Yopa, carrying out property valuations, launching listings, and managing sales progression from instruction through to completion.
With comprehensive experience across lettings, management, investment sourcing, and sales progression, I am now seeking to step back from property management entirely and return to a full-time employed position focused solely on residential sales. I bring strong client communication skills, a proven ability to generate instructions, a solid understanding of the sales process, and a deeply rooted passion for property that began almost a decade ago.
