  • Served as Communications and Correspondence Lead on a temporary (urgent) basis to support the Steel Strategy team after the passing of the Steel Industry (Special Measures) Act in April 2025.
  • Led on drafting and clearing an array of correspondence types, including Prime Minister's Questions, Oral Questions, Ministerial Letters and letters from the public.
  • Drafted weekly briefings for Ministers to ensure they were well-sighted on relevant issues each week. These included Ministerial meetings with senior industry officials, roundtables with international partners on the issue of steel safeguards as well as national security briefings.
  • Coordinated the drafting of the Steel Strategy due to be published later this year.
