• Responsible for delivery of water industry projects [specialist field of chemical dosing systems] from award through Completion, including design, procurement, manufacturing and site construction support, customer satisfaction and ultimately the P/L performance against business targets. Project value £150K to £1M
• Providing project based strategic business support to the Capital Projects Director
• Mentoring graduate engineers on introduction to a projects environment

• Responsible to the MD for delivery of specialist technology based projects within the UK Water Division: Design & Build and Engineered Systems business areas of the Company, managing a team of Project Managers/Engineers. Customers were both UK Water Companies and their Tier 1 framework contractors.
• Responsible for the management of construction sites with a team of Site Managers / Supervisors, and Commissioning engineers. Worked closely with the Company H&S Manager to ensure the highest level of Safety standards were achieved.
• Responsible for financial performance across all projects, conducting internal monthly project reviews and working closely with the CFO's to agree consolidated out-turns.
• Responsible for staff recruitment consistent with project delivery needs, and personal development.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the wider Projects team, and to ensure contract obligations were respected whilst identifying & controlling business risk.
• Provided close support to Business Development and Proposals teams by direct Client liaison, bid preparation / commentary, staff & site cost allocation, bid presentations and contract negotiation.
• Worked with the QA team during merger of two business streams to refresh & align working procedures for project & site management, and the approach to formal close out reviews of completed projects.

Responsible to the Associate of the Process Stream as Project Manager for a number of water treatment schemes through their feasibility study to point of contract placement.

Responsible, as part of the appraisals team, for design and tendering for 8 no. municipal wastewater sludge treatment schemes, value £2.5 to £20M.

• A specialist process contractor within the field of UK municipal wastewater & sludge treatment technologies and contracting.
• I held a variety of posts with the company through various acquisitions including Project Manager, Process Manager and Process Development Manager.

• A specialist process contractor in the UK municipal water and wastewater treatment sector
• Initially a process / proposals engineer, then Senior Process Engineer for wastewater treatment plant design
• Gained site experience for site testing of company aeration systems portfolio
