Setting up for lunchtime. Getting all relevant first aid and documents together that may be needed over the lunchtime period. Lining up year groups in order of food order to provide quick and officiant mealtime, so the children have optimum time outside. Year groups include but are not limited to year 2, 5 and 6 who are my main responsibility when inside.

When outside focusing on child's safety is paramount, as well as key interaction. When altercations occur, it is important for a child to feel listened to and that every emotion is valid. I also provide first aid when needed to any degree of injury using the correct protocols. Filling any paperwork when needed whether its first aid or behavioural. Interacting with teachers as and when needed to pass on any key information or follow ups that maybe required. Midday supervisors should always be visible to children so that they feel safe and comfortable at lunchtimes. lining up children at the end of lunch so they are ready for the afternoon of learning.

Reading and filling in reading logs.

Helping with maths 1 to 1s, using interventions for children who need extra support.

Sports day support.

Numerous school trips.

Swimming support.

I was asked to cover for a member of staff on maternity. Providing after school activities for different age ranges. This can vary from having 7 children up to approximately 13 at a time.

Volunteer within a classroom once a week taking on various roles including observing work, reading on a one to one basis and also forest school. I also went on a trip for a full day.

Taking orders front of house on the till. Taking orders through a headset on the drive thru window. Making drinks, cleaning cafe, restocking. Making sure customer service is to the highest standard.
