I enjoy challenging myself; I have hiked up Mount Batur, taken part in the Duke of Edinburgh award (DofE), spent a year on placement as a student teacher and been on a World Challenge expedition to Costa Rica, where I challenged myself in a new environment, learnt about a new culture, and worked with new people. I am well-known as an animal lover and spend lots of my time with my dogs and cats. I enjoy partaking in a multitude of sports regularly, including hikes with my dogs, swimming, tennis and golf.
I have experience as a dedicated pet care provider with experience in dog walking and sitting, complemented by a background in education as a student teacher. I have strong communication and time management skills developed through diverse roles in fast-paced environments. I am known for building trusting relationships with both clients and pets. I am well versed in the ability to efficiently save time for employers by often taking initiative which has been vastly developed through my experiences.

As I was on a tight schedule and had to fit each dog into my day and plan the timings, I developed time management skills and have experience in efficiently maximising the outcome of my work. I also developed independence and ability to solve problems on my own as I would dog sit and sleep in different houses by myself. Before I could take a dog out on a walk or could house sit, I had to meet the owners. Therefore, I have spoken to lots of new people constantly and I am very advanced in communication skills and maintaining professional standards.

Being a student teacher and teaching lessons to a class of 30+ children has enabled me to have more confidence in speaking to new people and has developed my public speaking skills. I also had to talk to lots of parents and other teachers which helped in my confidence of talking to a vast range of people. Working with the teacher and the TAs for lesson plans and other plans to help children has vastly developed my teamwork skills. I also developed my planning and time management skills as I planned many lessons over the year that all had strict timing.
