Summary

I enjoy challenging myself; I have hiked up Mount Batur, taken part in the Duke of Edinburgh award (DofE), spent a year on placement as a student teacher and been on a World Challenge expedition to Costa Rica, where I challenged myself in a new environment, learnt about a new culture, and worked with new people. I am well-known as an animal lover and spend lots of my time with my dogs and cats. I enjoy partaking in a multitude of sports regularly, including hikes with my dogs, swimming, tennis and golf.

I have experience as a dedicated pet care provider with experience in dog walking and sitting, complemented by a background in education as a student teacher. I have strong communication and time management skills developed through diverse roles in fast-paced environments. I am known for building trusting relationships with both clients and pets. I am well versed in the ability to efficiently save time for employers by often taking initiative which has been vastly developed through my experiences.

Dog walker and sitter

We Love Pets

Main duties

  • House-sat and cared for people's pets.
  • Collected different dogs and took them on a sufficient walk.

  • Carried out drop in visits to care for pets.
  • Built rapport with clients by meeting their individual pet care needs.
  • Administered medication as required by dog owner instructions, maintaining animal's health.

Key skills

As I was on a tight schedule and had to fit each dog into my day and plan the timings, I developed time management skills and have experience in efficiently maximising the outcome of my work. I also developed independence and ability to solve problems on my own as I would dog sit and sleep in different houses by myself. Before I could take a dog out on a walk or could house sit, I had to meet the owners.
