As Automation Engineer it is my role to lead all activities relating to our large scale automation cell.

this large scale Cell, includes use of 3 Kuka 6 axis robot & palletising sequencer.

• Lead maintenance activities throughout automation cell to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
• Liaise with new and existing suppliers in order to build a portfolio of recommended spares, stock levels and service contracts.
• Utilise troubleshooting techniques to address breakdown scenarios, ensuring minimal impact on production and reducing downtime.
• Point contact for additional software developments to further enhance capabilities palletising quantities.
• Facilitated development of a planned maintenance schedule to enhance cell operations.
• Found success in returning equipment condition to baseline levels to sustain efficiency levels at OEM rates.

Maintenance engineer, during time of this role. Being apart of a small scale maintenance department I played a proactive role within the day to day operation. Responding to breakdown activities, preforming planned maintenance activities, stores organisation to include stock level assessments and parts re-ordering.

• Aid develop and apply PPM schedules across the facility to improve machine availability and aid lessen production downtime.
• Electrical fault finding on electrical components and panels.
• Carried out new installation and commission of new machinery.
• Responded quickly to Breakdown scenarios ensuring minimal production delays.
• Adhered to safety procedures at all times, Including safe working practices such as LOTO.
• Liaise with production to ensure correct prioritisation was achieved allowing myself to best structure workload to suit production requirements.

Apprentice Maintenance engineer, Having chosen to pursue a career within engineering. I commenced a 5 year mechatronics apprenticeship.
