• Completed Bruno / Aggflows for circa 33 static plant crushing lines, utilising them to make performance based improvements to the processing facility with regards to tonnes per hour and product yields
• Member of a project team to install a new in-pit static crusher on site (Metso C200 equivalent) and conveyor system
• Member of the project team assisting with installing and embedding a fleet management system (FMS) on site, managing over 100 pieces of equipment in the quarry pit alone
• Member of a project team for the conception, analysis and installation of a new gyratory crusher on site

• Responsible for the drill and blast, load and haul, aggregates and asphalt processing, and static and mobile plant maintenance operations at Bayston Hill

• Conducting annual appraisals and six-monthly reviews with employees, as well as coaching and mentoring direct reports to continuously develop and meet targets

• Member of a project team responsible for the processing design, construction design, and implementation plan for an entire re-plant of the static aggregates processing plant on-site, as well as a future design for a railhead
• Responsible for dealing with potential suppliers and their proposals and looking at the feasibility of such proposals with the remaining members of the team
• Responsible for the creation and review of the construction management safety document to ensure as little interaction as possible with the operation was achieved and minimal disruption to the existing processing plant
• Liaising with external bodies including the local council, the electricity grid, and Network Rail in ensuring the proposals were suitable and approved by all.

• A limestone quarry on the Welsh border as well as three additional units in the county
• Ensuring all operations on‑site are safe and adhering to all relevant legislation, including the Quarry Regulations 1999
• Ensuring production and sales are in line as well as carrying out stock surveys to ensure stock levels were accurate at all times

PROJECTS

• Proposed project to transform operations on-site from crushing and screening to washing operations. The purpose of which was to eliminate the 30% to 40% scalping produced from the deposit. The proposed project would supplement coarse sand shortages across the region and aid in company strategy
• Carried out trials using historic tip material and blasted material at various sand washing plants across the UK to get results on sand and aggregate quality
• Carried out detailed costing analysis of the current vs proposed process
• Carried out a detailed analysis of the local market and supply chains
• Submitted a CAPEX proposal for the new plant after obtaining three quotes
