Thomas Yates

I am highly motivated, hard working and well educated, having passed all of my GCSE examinations including 5 subjects grades 6-9. I am currently studying A level Business, Geography and Theology. I have excellent leadership and communication skills as I am currently captain for St. Anselm’s College 2nd hockey team and captained my previous football team. I have also achieved Grade 4 ABRSM in my most recent piano examination. I am computer literate and am confident using a wide range of programs and software since completing my NEA A level Geography coursework. I am keen to study a degree in Quantity Surveying to utilise my transferable skills including A level Business Studies knowledge developing my skills of commercial awareness, contract and project management, budgeting, cost analysis, and critical thinking. Studying Geography A level has strengthened my awareness and crucial importance of sustainability and environmental awareness developing a combination of numerical, analytical, and environmental skills.
