I am a reliable and hardworking 16-year-old, keen to start working as a Kitchen Porter (and beyond) in your exciting new venture. As the captain of my football team and qualified referee, I have developed strong teamwork and communication skills. Dealing with some tricky parents and over-enthusiastic football team managers has helped me to improve working under pressure. Although I have never worked in this environment, I am eager to learn and will take instructions well to support the whole team.
I am a 2 minute walk from the Horse and Jockey which would make me a very accessible member of staff. It has been an important part of my local community growing up. I have attended many of its events over the years including Halloween parties, Bonfire nights, and switching on of the Christmas tree lights. This would be a very exciting opportunity to work at a venue that has been integral to my local community.

I am confident guiding young players during the game and communicating with coaches to ensure a fun yet smooth-running game. I am comfortable taking charge when I need to and dealing with problems when they arise which would help me in a restaurant environment.
