Completed a 13 month placement for UPS in Woking to complete work experience for my university degree. This involved:

• Improving digital literacy skills through daily use of Excel for improved efficiency and accuracy.

• Solved complex problems using analytical skills when deciding on funding amounts.
• Enhanced both communication skills and gained invaluable experience within professional team environments.
• Familiarised with presenting funding/distribution proposals to senior management via Microsoft Teams.
• Constantly multitasking while learning how to prioritise my workload .

Completed a 3 month summer placement for Hornby Hobbies Ltd, located at Hamleys flagship store. During this time,

• Improved direct sales skills and gained customer interaction experience
• Greeted customers and offered assistance with selecting merchandise, finding accessories and completing purchases.
• Shelved and merchandised new products in visually appealing, organised displays to engage customers and monitored stock levels.
• Worked energetically to maintain efficient operations during peak trading hours.
• Resolved customer complaints and process issues with proactive problem-solving skills.
• Assisted customers with product selection and sales, recommending items to increase transaction value.
• Monitored and reported suspicious activity to security officer to avoid theft.

During time spent as a bartender, demonstrated good communication skills, with a positive approach to customer service and good attention to detail. Responsibilities included

• Maintaining knowledge of drinks promotions, pricing and menu changes, offering customers up-to-date, reliable advice.
• Creating friendly, welcoming atmosphere to encourage positive guest experiences, prolonging visits to increase profitability.
