I participated in a IS wide transformational adoption to the Agile methodology in which time we were conducting a data centre exit and cloud migration to Azure.I also lead the requirements gathering of new GDPR requirements to comply with new legislation.My activities on these projects included:

  • Collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document the business requirements and processes for the data migration.

As a Data Lead for SVOP, a visualisation tool, I supervised a team of 5 in acquiring and preparing the data for the API team. I worked on the data discovery for TISIMP, a £60M programme that brings business change to National Grid's Electricity Transmission Department through system upgrades. We had to define filters and joins, validate the big table method, and identify data quality issues. Our goal was to map the existing data into the core systems, such as Ellipse and ESRI. My tasks were to:

  • Work with the team to Collect, clean, and analysis data from various sources
  • Create dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to visualize and communicate the findings
  • Collaborate with other project stakeholders and present the results and recommendations to senior management
  • Work with the team to establish the relationships and mappings between the data elements in various data sources and destinations
  • Determining how the data needs to be changed or modified to meet the business needs and objectives
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the data mapping performance and quality
