- Working with delivery people in the safe unloading and loading of materials to be used.
- Working as a banksman in conjunction with the crane driver , sling materials using hand signals and sometimes walkie talkies up to the roof and into position.
- Work across roof until finished then safely remove handrails and safety nets allowing for the installation of side walls gutters and down pipes.
- Inspection of finished job and cleaning up of site, sweeping up and general clean and tidy.
- Working with box profile , fibre cement,single skin and composite panels.
- A lot of heavy lifting involved as sheets are up to eight meters long.
- Working on National Infrastructure agricultural buildings , schools, swimming pools etc , always at height.
