I’m a dedicated and reliable professional with over 22 years of experience in the automotive industry. Throughout my career, I’ve built a wide range of skills and always strive to do my best in everything I do. People often describe me as confident and approachable, which helps me easily connect with others and form strong relationships. Right now, I’m the Repair Centre Manager at Motofix Exeter, a role I was asked to return to because of my reputation and knowledge of the industry. I love the challenge of the job, especially the part where I get to focus on growing and improving the business. I also really enjoy supporting my team by helping them identify areas for growth and building relationships to help them do their best work.

Possessing strong interpersonal abilities means I can collaborate seamlessly with Human Resources, and senior management to achieve organisational goals, while continuously working to enhance productivity and efficiency using the latest technology and improvements to existing processes. I have consistently achieved key performance indicators by leading and motivating my team often breaking unprecedented sale records.

As a fully qualified NVQ Level 3 painter, with a strong technical background and expertise I can demonstrate competence and proficiency in the field. I firmly believe in a firm yet fair management style managing personal capabilities to work towards shared objectives. I am confident in working alongside HR to manage conflict and the use of disciplinary measures when necessary.

Maintaining a strong commitment to health and safety is paramount in my role. Using the legal framework from the Health and Safety at Work Act I ensure a safe working environment for all team members, including enforcing the use of Personal Protective Equipment and the correct use of workshop equipment. I diligently ensure that I am up to date on industry best practice and legislation and undertake periodic risk assessments to promote compliance.

I am proficient in a wide range of IT skills with competency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. I have a solid understanding a of Excels functionalities using it to generate spreadsheets and to analyse data. With a strong IT foundation and a keen eye for detail I can deliver accurate, visually appealing, and impactful outputs across various applications.
