Work history

Production scheduler

Linear Composites Ltd
Keighley, Bradford
04.2018 - Current

When I first joined linear I join as a shift fitter with me completing an apprenticeship in engineering. Here I further developed my team working skills and learn the various mays of maintaining and fixing old and new machinery as well as having the privilege of completing important projects from start to finish.

Once my apprenticeship finished I moved into a more office based role with the manufacturing department as a production scheduler. Where I began to learn the importance of meeting deadlines and working with external customers and interested parties.

At Linear I have developed my skills and knowledge considerably. Not only have I developed key skills in production planning and maintain a tight schedule but I have also developed skills in quality and safety management. I have undergone training to become a QMS internal auditor and completed both my NEBOSH general national certificate as well as my NEBOSH fire certificate. I am also 2/3 the way through achieving my NEBOSH national diploma in health and safety as well.

I have maintained and managed the companies management systems for both ISO:9001 and ISO:45001 by completing internal audits, inspections, risk assessments, fire risk assessments, COSHH assessments and other important aspects of both systems.

I am excited to further develop my skills within the health and safety field in the future and are constantly looking for new ways to develop my knowledge in areas which I am un familiar with.
