An enthusiastic Primary School Teacher eager to help students learn and develop in academic, social and emotional areas. Proficient in current and up-to-date teaching methods, ensuring adaptive teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs. I have demonstrated clear behaviour management and excelled in teamwork, fostering a collaborative educational environment. Committed to continuous professional development and I strive to continue to better myself in my profession.
In the three-year period I was at Archdeacon, I was responsible for the academic progress of over 90 children, across two different year groups (3 and 5). I have been part of a team in designing a creative, intriguing and challenging curriculum. I have also confidently led PE across the school, planning fixtures, tournaments and a school wide sports and fitness week. I also have extensive experience working with different SEN needs and working alongside parents and Learning Support Assistants to aim to provide supportive environments for all. I also have experience working with EAL children, having worked in a school previously with over 95% EAL children. I believe that the teacher I have become is not by chance, but a product of hard work, self-reflection and desire.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Professional Development:
In the four-year time period in which I had been with the company, I grew through the company and gained experience that has allowed me to develop from a Junior coach all the way to in some instances leading a group of four or more coaches. This provided me with a great deal of responsibility over a large group of children, alongside being able to effectively help the smoothness of the session run and further, to ensure positive experiences of all involved. Punctuality, Confidence and effective communication are key skills acquired through this experience, alongside a strong development of coaching delivery and understanding.
