I am currently self employed as a plumbing and heating engineer completing work such as boiler installs, servicing, breakdowns etc as well as bathroom installations and maintenance plumbing. I completed a 3-year apprenticeship on leaving school and hold a NVQ Level 3. My ACS qualifications expire in November 2030. I also hold G3 and water regulations. I am exceptionally reliable, punctual, and always looking to learn new skills, gain more knowledge and qualifications to go with that knowledge. I can easily motivate myself as well as others. I have previous experience running my own businesses, completing work for private customers as well as large companies. I have had a team of people working for me which included apprentices and I work well within a team. Due to change of circumstances I am relocating so see this as a opportunity to find the ideal role within a company to succeed and progress in.
Currently self employed. My work consists of boiler installations, full system installation, boiler breakdowns, servicing as well as general maintenance plumbing and full bathroom installations. These are for a wide range of customers from building companies, letting agents and insurance companies to the general public. With completing jobs like this I put to use many skills such as working well as part of a team liaising with other trades, being organised when running the full job to meet deadlines and to make sure they are to budget. Whilst doing this making sure we show respect to the customers home and making sure they are happy with the end result.
Completing Gas appliance breakdowns, assessing and organising installation of new heating systems from combi boiler swaps to full install, gas safety inspections and auditing new properties before they become active for service users. Organising own work schedule, van stock and sourcing of materials. All jobs completed within set time limits dependant on category of job. Other areas of my role here was training new starters to use the system for work whilst on patch and also training an apprentice for the last year I was there.
I was employed here as a gas breakdown and service engineer up until the company ceased trading and was unfortunately made redundant
My main duties were attending breakdowns, completing gas safety checks, servicing gas appliances and all aspects of plumbing work.
