I currently work as a night-shift warehouse operative. Each day is full of its own obstacles that I have overcome time and time again. My role includes:-

• Reporting issues and damages to senior warehouse staff, enabling prompt, effective resolutions.
• Listening closely to instructions, carrying out fast-paced picking and packing in line with targets.
• Attended Health and Safety training to ensure consistent adherence to warehouse safety policies.
• Minimising product damage, ensuring goods were correctly handled and stored to task specifications.
• Completing work following safety rules for best working practices.
• Picking, packing and dispatching high-volume orders, consistently exceeding warehouse performance targets.
• Storing products in appropriate storage areas to maximise space within warehouse.
• Cleaning and tiding work areas to meet inspection requirements.
• Contacting suppliers to resolve shipment and delivery issues.
• Sorting stock on warehouse racks and shelves.
• Performing tagging and labelling of warehouse inventory.
• Loading packaged goods on to trucks for shipping.
• Inspecting received merchandise for any damages or discrepancies.
• Carrying out stock control and maintaining quality standards high for audits.
• Maintaining and cleaning warehouse equipment following set procedures.
• Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles manually and using pallet trucks.

Furthermore I have team leader/supervisor experience as well as key holder experience. I also passed my fire safety training to become the warehouses fire warden.

I have a years worth of painter and decorator experience. This job came with many challenges and tasks. Some of the tasks I faced and completed during this time were,

Primed surfaces, laid down dust sheets and prepared materials.

Refreshed walls, doors and trims with strict attention to detail.

Stripped old wallpaper and old paint.

Completed thorough snagging and finishing.

I also made sure all health and safety procedures were maintained which minimised all accidents and incidents.
