
Good knowledge in accounting, bookkeeping, and VAT compliance. Proficient in invoicing and billing. Comfortable with decision-making and with following given instructions. Duties include, but are not limited to,
1. attend all council meetings and sub-committee meetings.
2. preparation of Agenda for council meetings.
3. production of accurate Minutes of council meetings.
4. advise council regarding it's statutory obligations.
5. receive and monitor correspondence on behalf of council and bring such items to the attention of council in a timely fashion.
6. respond to correspondence on behalf of council, as instructed by council.
7. monitor and implement all financial transactions as instructed by council.
8. prepare an annual budget.
9. prepare, present to council, and submit the Annual Return within the time frame dictated by the Auditor General.
10. ensure council meet its legal employment law requirements.
11. attend training courses or seminars as required by council.
Duties include:
1. negotiate price and order farm animal feed and other consumables.
2. monitor and pay invoices within the terms of agreement.
3. preparation and submission of quarterly VAT return.
4. correspondence with Rural Payments Wales and other official bodies.
5. maintenance of day to day financial records for preparation of annual Financial Statements.
