Accountable for full operational and financial performance (P&L) of a £17.8m division with 25% EBITDA, directing strategic planning, resource optimisation, regulatory compliance, and commercial growth initiatives. Ensured the consistent delivery of high-quality services across geographically distributed teams and technical disciplines. Managed 5 direct reports and a total workforce of 152 employees.

Over the last six months in my new role, I successfully delivered the relocation of the Bradford lab to Manchester, building the new EMC facility from the ground up. This included establishing two new EMC chambers and a full EMC bench laboratory.

From a financial perspective, I managed to triple organic growth—from 1% in June to 3% in October—and reduced the prior-year EBITA profit gap by 50% through business restructuring and operational cost reductions.

  • During my tenure at KEC, I successfully grew revenue from £400k to £1.2m and restored the business to profitability, improving EBITDA from a £250k loss to a £250k positive margin.
  • This successful performance led to make the strategic decision to acquire RN Electronics in order to increase Kiwa EMC capacity and add Radio services for clients. Revenue increased to £2.4 million and ££00k EBITDA. I was responsible for approaching the business and for conducting the technical due diligence.
