I am a hardworking and reliable student with two years of experience in the hospitality sector, working in a busy local restaurant alongside my A-Level studies. Balancing regular shifts with academic commitments has strengthened my time management and communication skills. Through constant interaction with customers, i've developed confident customer service skills and the ability to solve problems quickly during busy service periods. I'm also very passionate about sport, particularly rugby and football. Playing for my School's First XV has taught me the value of teamwork, discipline, and performing well in high-pressure situations - qualities I believe would make me a strong fit for the Events team at Cancer Research UK
I also assisted in the organisation and delivery of a large-scale community charity run in Solihull for a family member's cause, involving approximately 800 participants over two consecutive years. Served as an event marshal for the Motor Neurone Disease Matt Gallagher Foundation, ensuring event safety and smooth operations. Additionally, I volunteered as an assistant at the Foundations to Change Prison Recovery Fire Walk in September 2025, supporting event coordination and participant management for an event with around 400 people.
