Completed a school-based paediatric placement provided by a children's mental health charity supporting pupils with SEMH and SEND needs. Planned, delivered and evaluated occupation-focused group interventions aimed at improving emotional regulation, handwriting, social participation, communication and engagement in school occupations. Worked collaboratively with educators, parents and multidisciplinary professionals to promote participation and wellbeing.

Completed an inpatient mental health placement within a specialist personality disorder service. Supported service users experiencing complex mental health needs through individual and group interventions. Participated in assessments, care planning, therapeutic groups, community integration activities and multidisciplinary meetings. Developed therapeutic relationships while applying occupation-focused and recovery-oriented approaches.

Completed a community mental health placement supporting adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions. Delivered individual interventions, contributed to group programmes, completed assessments and care planning, and participated in MDT meetings. Gained experience in community-based occupational therapy, discharge planning and recovery-focused practice.

Completed a placement within an inpatient neurological rehabilitation service supporting adults following neurological injury and illness. Observed and contributed to assessment and rehabilitation programmes, participated in multidisciplinary working, and supported interventions focused on maximising independence and occupational performance.

Accompanied the Head of Transition at Greenford High School on visits to local primary schools, including Ravenor Primary School and Stanhope Primary School, to support Year 6 pupils preparing for the transition to secondary education. Utilised my personal experience as a secondary school student to provide reassurance, answer questions, and offer practical advice about the transition process. Supported pupils in understanding the differences between primary and secondary school and engaged in activities designed to familiarise them with life at Greenford High School, helping to build confidence and reduce anxieties about the transition.

Provided academic support to Year 11 students preparing for their GCSE English Literature examinations, delivering both individual and small-group tutoring sessions. Supported students in developing their analytical writing skills, improving confidence, and strengthening exam technique through tailored guidance and revision strategies. Shared effective approaches to memorisation, essay planning, and textual analysis, helping students overcome academic challenges and engage more positively with the revision process. Encouraged resilience and self-belief by providing ongoing motivation and practical advice to support achievement and examination success.
