  • Designed websites using wordpress.
  • Modified plugins that came with the themes in order to suit customer's needs.
  • Actively took responsibility for integrating a video conferencing tool, jitsi, into an existing web application with thousands of users.
  • Combined different aspects of jitsi video conferencing tool by installing and configuring different aspects of jitsi including a STUN/TURN server(coturn), a video bridge(served or proxied by nginx), jicofo(served by prosody, an XMPP server) and jibri(a recording component of jitsi).
  • Collaborated with my supervisor and my team mates to deliver well written and tested code.
  • Was involved in working directly with clients to figure out their needs and deliver products up to specification.
  • Managed websites hosted in Linux and served by Apache2
  • Gained extensive skills and abilities in PHP, Python, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, SQL(MySQL and SQLite) and Linux administration, through regular practice in projects.
  • Created two application using Pygame, pluggy, Picamera2, OpenCV among other python libraries deployed on a Raspberry pi running Debian bullseye. Other features of the application include encrypting of documents pulled down from a web application and decrypting them on demand when a password is entered. The desktop application communicates to a web application through webhooks to synchronise the settings used on the local application with the settings pulled down from the web application.
