Summary

I have worked in a primary school setting for 15 years. I am passionate about my job. I started as a one-to-one assistant for a child with mobility issues. 4 years later, i changed to a Teaching assistant.

I am enthusiastic and dedicated in helping the children in my class to achieve the best of their ability. I work alongside my teacher to understand the child's development and differentiation depending on their understanding.

I work well in a team as well as an individual. I can use my initiative to change the lesson within my small group if i feel we need to concrete previous learning.

I work as a mid day supervisor every lunchtime. My main focus is on the safety and well being of the children on my playground.

It's a job that requires excellent organisational and team playing skills, as which i have both.

Monitoring risk assessments and behaviour management is a daily task.

My other job within the school setting but a separate organisation is my role as a play worker at the after school and breakfast club.

Part of my job is to nurture the child as a whole not just their education. we strive to follow the British values to allow every child to be included.
