Teri Horton

During my time in college qualifying for my childcare education I have accumulated 2 years of placement experience working with children between the ages of 0-5, this has been, feeding, playing with and educating the children as i have experience in all stages in a nursery and a reception class. I truly loved my time working with children and consider it my passion and I am excited to find my feet in this profession, during this time my pervious employers would consider me hardworking, eager to learn and trustworthy. I am a bubbly personality and a people person. the most valuable skills I feel i have learnt is open mindedness, behavioural management techniques and fun and educational activity planning taking in consideration development.

although i have no official childcare experience i feel as if my skills in my hospitality have taught me open commination and dealing with tricky customers and calmly and efficiently resolving problems, i have learnt to work well under pressure and have gained team working skills, which i feel can be transferred to a childcare setting
