During COVID19 I assisted on the SPA EOLC palliative phone line, managing emergency phone calls from EOLC clients and their families.
Many of these families were alone and very scared during these traumatic situations whilst their loved ones were passing through their end of life journey.
It was an honour and privilege to support these families with enhanced, compassionate communication skills.
I liased with the community nurses, GP's and St Luke's in assisting with the co-ordination of advanced community EOLC .
