Teresa Horler

I am a qualified and registered Social Worker with a wide range of experience working wiht Children and families both in the chid protection and fostering services. I have experience of completing initial and s.47 assessments, kinship assessments, form F assessments as well as case management responsibilities for looked after children.

I have been qualified and actively working as a social worker for the past 19 years and have excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. I am adept at forming excellent and trusted relationships with children and their families and pride myself on working in an empowering and empathic manner.

I have been involved in assessment work for over 19 years, primarily within fostering and child assessments.

I have been a foster panel member and have been involved in training foster carers.

I have a sound work ethic, am a good team player and will seek advice and guidance when required.
