Managing the Key accounts Sales team and Project Team

  • Tracked sales figures to assess team performance
  • Maintained accurate pipelines and ensured timely follow-up on all quotes
  • Conduct regular meetings with Key customers, with and without their External rep, to ensure projects are running smoothly
  • Regularly speak with Suppliers to ensure upcoming projects are visible in their pipeline and forecasting
  • Researched and helped implement the new CRM system, ensuring it is kept up to date and all data is accurate
  • Aid with implementation of SOP's and ensuring best practice for each process
  • Liaised with Procurement and the Warehouse team as well as Logistics to ensure projects were forecast and planned in advance to cater for any special requirements on customer sites
  • Provided reports to Management detailing pipelines, sales figures, rebates and stock usage
  • Helped Procurement forecast on top brands to cater for any spikes due to project requirements
  • Developed the team processes by liaising with other departments to ensure the customer always received the best service
  • Point of escalation for the Projects Team
  • Ensuring all Live Projects are running smoothly and all quoted projects are logged and in the pipeline
  • Assist the team in achieving their goals

From January 2026, due to a restructure internally, I have changed roles as a Senior Support for the External team dealing with the top spending accounts.
