  • Maintained shop cleanliness by wiping tables, sweeping floors, and clearing trays.
  • Providing table service to customers, topping up receipts at kiosks in-shop, which gave me an opportunity to connect with the customers, answering any enquiries they may have.
  • This gave me an opportunity to show my hospitable nature to my employer, who was highly impressed and had called my school, recognising my efforts.
  • Alongside my employer, my colleagues, Fatou, and Esther applauded my strong work ethic, which was evident through my good attitude and my high-quality output on the job.

  • In this role I volunteered for three months to help out with Year 7 and Year 8 netball sessions after school as part of my Duke of Edinburgh Award.

  • I was also in charge of equipment maintenance (pumping all the netballs, stacking the cones, washing the bibs, filling the shoe rack).
  • I further developed the ability to cater to different individuals' needs as I closely worked with the students during the three months.
