In this role, I worked mostly in the maternity department of the hospital and I was commended by my colleagues, the doctors and nurses as well as the patient relatives for my enviable approach to care and my high standards of cleanliness. Some of my duties were;

• Helping mothers before and after childbirth with food preparation and maintaining a healthy diet.
• Assist new mothers with oral hygiene, grooming and eating and also putting the new babies to sleep.
• Providing advice and emotional support to patients and patient-relatives.
• Assisting patients with activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreations.
