• Assisting with washing, dressing, and hygiene of sick patients

• Administering medication according to care plan

• Supporting sick and injured patients to take part in physical and social activities

In this role, I worked mostly in the maternity department of the hospital and I was commended by my colleagues, the doctors and nurses as well as the patient relatives for my enviable approach to care and my high standards of cleanliness. Some of my duties were;

· Helping mothers before and after childbirth with food preparation and maintaining a healthy diet.

· Perform clerical duties such as word processing, data entry, answering phone calls and filing.

· Assist new mothers with oral hygiene, grooming and eating and also putting the new babies to sleep.

· Providing advice and emotional support to patients and patient-relatives

· Assisting patients with activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreations.

• Assist Customers with their purchases and any other Inquiries they might have.
