Risk Assessment and Management in a Construction Project.
This master’s thesis is aimed at exploring and evaluating risk management projects within the UK construction sector with a focus on UK contractors' perspectives. The objective is to analyse risk management recognition and practice in order to determine how project information is being used. The approach comprises a literature study on the core principles of risk management, the various risk attitudes, and risk knowledge management. The gathering and analysis of data is based on a mixed approach of methods, in which conclusions are reached in theory. The empirical data are compiled via an online poll and a detailed interview with important UK construction experts.
