  • Gained valuable team working experience by participating in a self organised trip with friends to Scotland to climb Ben Nevis and walk the West Highland way. This was a challenging trip that tested resilience due to harsh weather and relentless midges; this was funded this by applying for funding from the Henry Morris Trust.
  • Enjoys participating in a wide range of activities both inside and outside of school. Regularly takes part in basketball, football, and athletics, and was especially pleased to come second in a recent javelin competition out of 20 competitors from five other schools. Has also represented school in table tennis and badminton, winning most games. Last cricket season, won the coach's player award for having the fastest and most accurate bowl in the team.
  • Outside school, plays football, cricket, and golf, and goes to the gym 3–4 times a week. Enjoys cooking for family and developing skills in a variety of cuisines, including roasts, sushi, and Italian dishes. Additionally, has completed all four stages of the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme.
  • Has also taken part in the D of E Bronze award. For physical section, focused on cricket, particularly bowling; for skills section, learned to cook; and for volunteering, he and a friend carried out litter-picking around the village.
  • Work experience at a local primary school where showed leadership qualities in arranging activities and organising the children; ensuring their safety as well as inspiring them with sporting skills and other practical skills. The staff described him as “polite,” “exceptionally good with kids,” and “punctual."
