Tayyab Kayani

From a young age, hands-on skills were developed through work across plumbing, gardening, wallpapering, flooring installation, painting, electrical tasks, and woodworking. Growing up around handyman work created a strong foundation of practical ability and confidence with tools and home improvement tasks. Full rooms have been completed independently, wooden flooring has been fitted, plumbing jobs carried out in various homes, gardens maintained, and wallpapering completed as a sole trader. Alongside this practical experience, a strong interest in aerospace engineering has continued to grow, with a focus on design, problem-solving, and understanding how mechanical and technical systems operate. These experiences reflect a solid technical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality work.

• Cricket: I am close to reaching Kent Standard and currently play Adults Cricket, which has helped me build strong technical skills, consistency, and confidence on the field. Playing at this level has strengthened my teamwork, discipline, and ability to stay focused under pressure.
• Boxing: I am a fast learner in boxing and quickly pick up new techniques and combinations. Training in boxing has developed my discipline, sharp decision-making, and mental toughness.
• Gym: I train in the gym six days a week, which shows my dedication, consistency, and commitment to improving my strength, fitness, and overall performance.
• Engineering: I have done a lot of engineering throughout my life, both at school and at home through hands-on work as a handyman. These experiences have helped me build practical skills, problem-solving ability, and confidence working with tools and systems. I also have a major interest in aerospace engineering, and I enjoy learning how aircraft and mechanical systems operate. It's a field I'm passionate about and eager to develop further.
