Taylor John Yapp

I am currently working at Rapid Retail, my job role involves refurbishing metal and wooden containers which are used for holding merchandise we distribute them all round the country. We build them from start to finish using various materials such as Ali-bond, vinyl floor coverings, wooden cladding, different sized trims, roof blankets, slat wall, grid wall and nova trim and we do other bits like painting and decorating pluming .We ensure that we always meet the clients deadline and always make sure that the units we are providing are up to a great standard.Since being there i have now been assigned the fire marshal role and have taken over the team leader role making sure stock is all up to date and we have the right materials for the job.

During my time at J and R carpentry, we undertook various projects such as kitchen fitting, media walls, door hanging, plastering, tiling,wardrobe fitting, loft conversions and various different landscaping tasks. During my time at this job i have learnt many skills including: team working skills,working with customers

demonstrating respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed,Improved efficiency and productivity and used critical thinking to break down problems, evaluate solutions and make decisions.
