Rejoined former employer following the sale of his previous company Reel Group Ltd and became one of the first technicians recruited into the new organisation. Responsible for leading and supervising offshore inspection, lifting equipment surveys, and major wire rope replacement operations across offshore drilling units and heavy lifting systems worldwide.

Key Responsibilities & Experience

  • Supervised and executed large-scale wire rope change-out operations on heavy lift offshore cranes, including 165-tonne Subsea crane systems, ensuring safe handling and installation of high-value crane wires.
  • Managed the logistics, mobilisation, and positioning of specialist equipment required for wire rope replacement and crane maintenance operations.
  • Performed and supervised Magnetic Rope Testing (MRT) inspections and high-pressure lubrication of crane and subsea lifting wires.
  • Conducted wire rope change-outs, MRT inspections, and lubrication programmes across a variety of lifting systems including:
