
I am an enthusiastic, caring and motivated individual. I recently completed my third summer as a Camp Counsellor and currently working at Typo as a senior casual for more than four years. I enjoy challenges and discovering new learning opportunities and I have strong customer service and team building skills. I am currently searching for a position which will allow me to utilise my diverse range of established employability skills and present me with opportunities to learn and develop.

As a member of the typo team for over four years i have excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling me to liaise with a diverse range of individuals and to quickly establish customer needs. Ability to be an effective, efficient and productive team member and run days effectively. Demonstrated ability to utilise listening, questioning, negotiation and conflict resolutions skills where required. The ability to prioritise duties to ensure efficient customer service is delivered in a timely manner. Demonstrated ability to train new staff in correct policies and procedure. In 2024, from October to January I was promoted to part-time and second in-charge. Taking extra responsibility in store management, leadership role and navigating positive and strong staff connections.
At Pali my job title was Fine Arts director and general counsellor. Which entailed leader staff and groups of children through activities, making a curriculum, ensuring that camp policies were enforced and provide health and safety. Lead adventure programs with groups of children such as; tomahawk throwing, archery, Gaga ball and Laser tag.
My second year at Pali i was promote to Group Leader. Which meant i was responsible for general counselor and groups of children in cabin. Which meant i acted as positive role model and mentor to provide campers and counselor with constructive guidance and promote healthy habits and attitudes. Mediated camper and counselor conflicts to resolve problems and maintain positive and safe camp environments.
My third year I was promoted to creative director as a leadership team of summer. I was in charge of designs, implements, and oversees the innovative programming, activities, and overall creative vision for a summer camp. As part of my creative director duties i oversaw 15 different specialty programs. This role involves creating an engaging and supportive environment for campers and staff, managing resources, training and mentoring staff, and ensuring the camp provides a unique, impactful, and memorable experience through creative problem-solving and new ideas.
Effectively works with special needs students in cooperation with relevant specialists – assisted socially, physical and emotionally challenged children in developing skills. Providing help to students with physical care, such as; feeding, toileting, and individual hygiene. The skills I use daily include; Planning and organization skills in preparing a range of activities, Supervising students throughout the day and leading a class or one-of-one.
Through my experience at Sweetheart i have learn to understands the value of strong customer service. Ensuring compliance and understanding of all relevant legislation, policies and procedures including Occupational Health and Safety, Anti –Discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity.
