Over the past 6 months I have worked in the reflection base at Newcastle Academy, this has involved:

• Diffusing Negative and challenging behaviour.
• Motivating and supporting students with their learning.
• 1:1 support with students.
• Reporting safeguarding to the appropriate lead.
• Monitoring and recording students behaviours.
• General admin.
• Working alongside the pastoral team.
• Problem solving.

Whilst working at events I have provided a friendly and professional service, always putting the customers needs first.

Job role:

• Preparing and making drinks to a very high standard, usually in a pressurised environment.
• Maintaining stock levels and cleanliness of the bar.
• Good time management to ensure the bar is closed at agreed deadline.
• Work alongside team members to provide a seamless service during busy periods.
• Train new staff members
• Dealing with cash/card transactions.

• Since starting my role as a Community Carer I have Provided compassionate care and companionship to maintain our clients fulfilment and wellbeing.
• Maintained accurate records of the daily care given to the client, in their care plan. This can include administration of medication, food and drink in take and personal care.
• I have knowledge on how to care for people with dementia, autism and other disabilities. I am aware of the health and safety procedures needed to be followed.
• I am compassionate about making a clients experience with care positive and comforting.
