Clinical Role:

• Night On-calls providing cross-specialty cover for General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Trauma & Orthopaedics & Urology
• Assisted for elective/emergency cases monthly, including laparoscopic and open colorectal procedures .
• Clerking new Surgical patients from A&E along with assessment, management, and treatment of acutely ill patients
• Prepping patients for both elective and emergency procedures, including group and save, anaesthesia & MDT referrals, etc
• Minor procedures including Catheterizations, VBGs, ABGs, Venous taps, IV cannulations

Academic Role :

• Designed and delivered the undergraduate digestive module curriculum (UCL-affiliated), achieving 92% student satisfaction .
• Pioneered bedside clinical teaching for medical students, integrating simulation training and case-based learning.
• As the first holder of this role , established protocols for balancing clinical duties (50%) with teaching commitments (50%).
