• Whilst being a McDonalds employee I have learnt to keep great hygiene and cleanliness in my area of work cleaning things such as under the fry station, the drinks area and around the tills
• I have learnt to keep my work accurate and fast under times of stress and adapting to the situation I am in like if a front crew member is working the till and I still need to complete customer and delivery orders to the quality and time standard or better you would expect from McDonalds at anytime
• I have learnt to build a relationship with customers such as small talk to returning customers or simply helping out disabled people or pregnant women with taking there trays to there table and giving them efficient service
• Overall Being at a massive fast food chain it has taught me
• Adapt to every situation and Perform under busy/stressful days without error
• Create a welcoming experience for the customer and have great customer service
• How to handle difficult customers whilst also dealing with other queries with 100s more throughout the day

As a Visual Merchandiser I was educated on how to display fruit and pack fruit and instructed on how to entice people into purchasing the product.

My responsibilities were to make sure the tables were fully stocked so the stall looked vibrant and packed full of fruit and vegetables to entice customers. I was able to have a lot of experience with teamwork, as on a market stall everyone needs to work together so that people are being served as well finding the product they are looking for.

It also taught me how to speak and deal with customers when asking about different products and how to deal with difficult people in a professional manor.

As a Visual Merchandiser another one of my roles was to keep the area clean and dispose of boxes and packaging; this was to keep hygiene at a high and to make the stall look presentable. Even more so as The Fruit Hub was at a hospital, with many vulnerable customers.

As a Visual Merchandiser I was taught to create visually appealing displays using the product and how to maximise space to make the most amount of profit.

While working as labourer at All Fields Construction I gained experience of being on a high pressure worksite learning how to use tools and install appliances.

It was a very physical demanding job such as manually sorting and loading goods, while working long hours.

I was taught how to maintain a site and regularly remove debris which taught me about the need for perfection and teamwork as communication on a site is key for a good and safe work environment.

I also aided skilled workers with installing or fixing appliances such as radiators, kitchen appliances and boilers this helped me learn a range of skills in a trade.
